33 Years

33 years ...
Some would say that is short,
Some would say that is long,
How does one judge?
As She looks back, I can see Dedication, Hardwork,
Understanding, but most importantly,
A Teacher who has guided so many of her students
Into a path of light.
This is not a poem praising her 33 years,
For no words can express what She has done for us,
As She looks back,
I feel lucky to stand there amongst all her students,
Saluting my German Teacher,
who taught me more than what I can express.
